中心召开历史文化街区保护国际座谈会

      2014年10月15日,国际古迹遗址理事会资深委员、国际城市与区域规划学会前主席Pierre Laconte(皮埃尔•拉孔特)、国际古迹遗址理事会共享遗产委员会秘书长John Ward(琼•华特)、澳大利亚贝壳港市议会高级策划师Cheryl Lappin(谢丽尔•拉平)一行来到武汉市土地利用和城市空间规划研究中心进行座谈,交流探讨历史文化街区保护相关问题。地空中心陈韦主任、黄焕副主任率项目组及国际工作站相关人员,在10楼会议室接待了三位来宾。

      座谈会上,陈韦主任对武汉市及中心的基本情况做了简要介绍。空间规划研究部和江南分中心分别向来访专家汇报了《中山大道景观提升规划(一元路至武胜路段)》项目及《昙华林历史街区保护规划》项目。皮埃尔•拉孔特等专家对中心所完成的阶段性成果表示了赞赏,并提出了自己独到的见解,对中心技术水平的进一步提升发挥了积极作用。

      背景资料:国际古迹遗址理事会(简称ICOMOS)1965年在波兰华沙成立,是世界遗产委员会的专业咨询机构。它由世界各国文化遗产专业人士组成,是古迹遗址保护和修复领域唯一的国际非政府组织,在审定世界各国提名的世界文化遗产申报名单方面起着重要作用。

On October 15, 2014, Pierre Laconte, the Senior Member of International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and former chairman of Institute of International Urban and Regional Planning, John Ward, Secretary of Shared Heritage of ICOMOS, and Cheryl Lappin, the Senior Planner of Shellharbour City Council, came to Wuhan City for the conversation held by Land-Space Center. During the conversation, the problems of historic heritage conservation area protection have been discussed and investigated. At 10F Meeting Room, the three distinguished guests were entertained by Chen Wei, Director of Center Web Site, and Vice Director Huang Huan followed by project team and staff of International Affairs Department.

In the conversation, Director Chen Wei has made a brief introduction to Wuhan City and Center Web Site; the representatives from Research Department of Space Planning and Branch Center of Jiangnan made statement to the visiting experts on the Project - Landscape Planning for Zhongshan Avenue (i.e., from Yiyuan Road to Wusheng Road) and the Project - Historical Streets Heritage Protection Planning for Tanhualin. The experts represented by Pierre Laconte have appreciated the phase achievement completed by Center Web Site, and proposed their own ideas, which will play an active role in Center Web Site’s technology improvement.

Background information: International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) was found in Warsaw, Poland in 1965, and was the Professional Consultant of World Heritage Committee. As the only one INGO in the field of monuments and sites protection and restoration, it consists of experts of culture heritage from all over the world, which has been playing a vital role in validating the notification list of world cultural heritage.
